Mobile app launched for ease of admissions in Telangana Minority Residential Schools
Sri B. Shafiullah, IFS., Secretary Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) in a Press Statement today stated that in an attempt to make applications for admission easier and more convenient, the TMREI Society has launched a new mobile application amid the Covid-19 outbreak which will prevent students and parents from gathering at the schools and colleges.
Eligible candidates can download the Mobile app “TMREIS” from Google Play Store and fill the admission form or through TMREIS official website www.tmreis.telangana.gov.in. The last date for receipt of applications is 20-05-2021.
Students will be admitted by conducting drawl of lots at school level in the respective TMR Schools whereas the admission in Intermediate First Year will be done for only TMR School students through drawl of lots at college level in the presence of selection committee duly following the rule of reservation of TMREIS. After the process of admission of TMREIS students, the left over seats if any available will be filled by inviting fresh applications at college level from the eligible candidates of other institutions.
Sri B. Shafiullah thanked the Honourable Chief Minister Sri. K. Chandrasekhar RaoGaru for sanctioning large number of Minority Residential Schools and Junior Colleges where more than 1 lakh minority students are getting highest quality education. This flagship programme has created an opportunity to minorities and a stepping stone to educate economically backward minorities children. There are 204 Residential Schools and 118 Junior Colleges of TMREIS running successfully across the Telangana State. Herequested the parents to utilise this opportunity and enrol their wards for admission in TMR School.
