Forest Department – Closing of Zoo Parks, National Parks due to Covid.

CLOSURE OF ZOOLOGICAL PARKS, NATIONAL PARKS, TIGER RESERVES AND WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES IN TELANGANA  FOR VISITORS TILL FURTHER ORDERS

 



In view of rapid spread of  SARS Cov-2 in the country, the Ministry of Environment Forests and Climate Change, New Delhi  has issued advisory to close all the Zoological Parks, National Parks, Tiger Reserves and Wildlife Sanctuaries for visitors till further orders to control the spread of the COVID – 19 pandemic .

 

Accordingly, the Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF)& Chief Wildlife Warden, Telangana has issued orders to close the Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, Kakatiya Zoological Park, Warangal, Kawal and Amrabad Tiger Reserves, all National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries in  the state of Telangana  with immediate effect as a precautionary measure to prevent spread of virus among Wildlife.

Hence, all the above mentioned facilities including Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad  shall  remain closed for visitors from 02.05.2021 until further orders.
