Mr.Claudio Ansorena, Ambassador of Costa Rica called on Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana at BRKR Bhavan today. The Chief Secretary appraised that, under visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the State is rapidly progressing in Agriculture, IT, Pharma and Industrial sectors. Mutual areas of cooperation in the field of oil palm cultivation, Technical collaboration and Agriculture were discussed extensively including the huge potential for investments to develop palm oil industry in the state of Telangana. The possibility of reaching MOU was also discussed.
Chief Secretary briefed about the Kaleshwaram irrigation project, Agriculture growth taken place in the state for the last 7 years and measures have taken on controlling of the Covid-19 in the state.
Sri Jayesh Ranjan,IAS, Principal Secretary, ITE&C, Sri Arvinder Singh, Joint Secretary ( Protocol) were attended.

కోస్టారికా అంబాసిడర్ Mr. క్లాడియో అన్సోరెనా, శుక్రవారం బిఆర్ కెఆర్ భవన్ లో ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ సోమేశ్ కుమార్ ను మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిసారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి మాట్లాడుతూ రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ కె.చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు గారి నాయకత్వంలో రాష్ట్రం వ్యవసాయ, ఐటి, ఫార్మా, పారిశ్రామిక రంగంలో గణనీయమైన పురోగతి సాధించిందని వివరించారు. ఆయిల్ పామ్ సాగు, సాంకేతిక సహకారం, వ్యవసాయం తదితర రంగాలలో పరస్పర సహకారంతో పాటు, పామాయిల్ పరిశ్రమల పెట్టుబడులకు గల విస్తృత అవకాశాలపై చర్చించారు. MOU కుదుర్చుకొనే అంశాలపై కూడా చర్చించారు.
గత 7 సంవత్సరాలుగా వ్యవసాయరంగంలో సాధించిన ప్రగతి, కాళేశ్వరం నీటి పారుదల ప్రాజెక్టుతో పాటు కోవిడ్-19 నియంత్రణకు చేపట్టిన చర్యలను వివరించారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో ఐ.టి. శాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ జయేష్ రంజన్, జాయింట్ సెక్రటరి ( ప్రొటోకాల్) శ్రీ అర్విందర్ సింగ్ లు పాల్గొన్నారు.
