The Common Entrance Examination for admission into Polytechnics (POLYCET-2021) was held on 17-07-2021 the results are declared on 28-07-2021 Out of 1,02,496 candidates registered, 92,557 have appeared for the examination. The minimum qualifying marks in POLYCET-2021 is 30% i.e. 36 marks out of 120 for all category candidates, except SC and ST for whom there is 01(ONE) minimum qualifying mark. Out of 16940 SC candidates who have appeared for the POLYCET-2021 examinations 16938 have been assigned ranks based on their performance. Out of 10433 ST candidates who have appeared for the POLYCET-2021 examinations 10433 have been assigned ranks based on their performance. The ranking has been assigned to candidates based on total marks secured in POLYCET-2021 separately for MPC and MBiPC stream.

The scanned copies of OMR sheets of candidates will be placed on the website https://polycetts.nic.in. The detailed notification with regard to web counseling for admission into various diploma courses (Offered by SBTET) has been released by the Commissioner of Technical Education and Chairman, SBTET, Telangana, Hyderabad today. This notification has been published in leading Newspapers printed and circulated in Telangana. Candidates are advised to look out for the same and attend the verification of certificates program as per the schedule based on their rank indicated in the notification, the details of branch wise and college wise seats availability from the DTE and SBTET websites. The Notification in the newspapers shall itself be treated as a call letter for web counseling for admission. No separate call letter to attend for verification of certificates and web counseling shall be sent to the candidate. Candidates may please note that failure on their part to attend the verification of certificates program as part of web counseling may result in them becoming ineligible for being considered for admission into any Polytechnic in the State for the academic year 2021-22.
