Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar IAS said that the special vaccination drive for the elderly and disabled people staying in old age home has been taken up as per the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao.
Chief Secretary visited the old age home at Bansilalpet today and flagged off the mobile vans. 24 mobile medical units have been deployed from today to vaccinate elderly and disabled people staying in various old age homes in the GHMC area. The mobile unit will comprise of a Doctor, Pharmacist and ANM. He also inspected the vaccination centre where the elderly and disabled people were being vaccinated.
Chief Secretary stated that the government is fully geared up and prepared to handle the 3rd wave by improving health infrastructure, strengthening human resources, capacity building, vaccinating high exposure groups and setting up 19 diagnostic centres across the state.
Later the Chief Secretary inaugurated vaccination centre at Union Bank of India (Andhra Bank) regional office Koti where the employees and family members of Union Bank employees were being vaccinated. He congratulated General Manger Kabir Bhattacharya and other bank officials for taking up vaccination drive for the employees and their family members through various private hospitals.
Secretary Health and Family Welfare Sri S.A.M.Rizvi, Special Secretary, Finance Sri Ronald Rose, Secretary Women and Child Welfare Smt Divya, Hyderabad Collector Sweta Mohanty, Director Disabled Welfare Smt Sailaja and other officials were present.

రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ కె. చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు గారి ఆదేశాల మేరకు, వృద్ధులు, వికలాంగుల వ్యాక్సినేషన్ కై స్పెషల్ డ్రైవ్ చేపట్టినట్లు ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ సోమేశ్ కుమార్ తెలిపారు.
ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి ఈ రోజు బన్సిలాల్‌పేట్‌లోని వృద్ధాప్య గృహాన్ని సందర్శించి మొబైల్ వ్యాన్‌లకు పచ్చ జండా ఊపి వ్యాక్సినేషన్ ను ప్రారంభిచారు . జీహెచ్‌ఎంసీ ఎరియాలో వివిధ వృద్ధాప్య గృహాల్లో ఉంటున్న వృద్ధులు, వికలాంగులకు టీకాలు వేయడానికి ఈ రోజు నుంచి 24 మొబైల్ మెడికల్ వ్యాన్ ల ద్వారా వ్యాక్సినేషన్ చేయడం జరుగుతుందని, మొబైల్ యూనిట్‌లో డాక్టర్, ఫార్మసిస్ట్ మరియు ఎఎన్‌ఎం ఉంటారని తెలిపారు. వృద్ధులు, వికలాంగులకు టీకాలు వేస్తున్న టీకా కేంద్రాన్ని కూడా ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి పరిశీలించారు.
రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 19 ఉచిత డయాగ్నొస్టిక్ కేంద్రాలను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.3వ వేవ్ ను సమర్ధవంతంగా ఎదుర్కోవడానికి ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నట్లు ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి పేర్కొన్నారు. ఆసుపత్రులలో మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను మెరుగుపరచడం, మానవ వనరులను బలోపేతం చేయడం, సామర్థ్యం పెంపొందించడం, హై ఎక్స్ పోజర్ గ్రూపులకు టీకాలు వేయడం ద్వారా కరోనా వైరస్ వ్యాప్తిని అరికట్టడం జరుగుతుదన్నారు.
అనంతరం కోఠి లోని యూనియన్ (ఆంధ్ర )బ్యాంక్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా ప్రాంతీయ కార్యాలయం లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన టీకా కేంద్రాన్ని ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ సోమేశ్ కుమార్ ప్రారంభించారు, అక్కడ బ్యాంక్ ఉద్యోగులు మరియు ఉద్యోగుల కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు వ్యాక్సినేషన్ ఇస్తున్నారు. వివిధ ప్రైవేట్ హస్పటల్స్ ద్వారా ఉద్యోగులు మరియు వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు వ్యాక్సినేషన్ డ్రైవ్ చేపట్టినందుకు జనరల్ మేనేజర్ కబీర్ భట్టాచార్య ఇతర బ్యాంకు అధికారులను ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి అభినందించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఆరోగ్య, కుటుంబ సంక్షేమ శాఖ కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ రిజ్వీ, ఆర్ధిక శాఖ స్పెషల్ సెక్రటరీ శ్రీ రోనాల్డ్ రోస్, శిశు సంక్షేమ శాఖ కార్యదర్శి శ్రీమతి దివ్య, హైదరాబాద్ జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ శ్రీమతి శ్వేతా మహంతి, వికలాంగుల సంక్షేమ శాఖ డైరెక్టర్ శ్రీమతి శైలజ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
